Sesame Seed Oil — Calms scalp inflammation and reduces flaking; omega 3 & 6 and vitamin E support scalp repair and stronger growth over time.

Green Tea — Antioxidant catechins (including EGCG) protect against oxidative damage; natural caffeine supports circulation to the follicles.

Hibiscus — Protects against irritation and microbial imbalance; natural mucilage strengthens strands and reduces breakage.

Pumpkin Seed Oil — Moisturizes and balances a dry or stressed scalp with vitamin E, antioxidants, and omega 6.

Castor Seed Oil — Anti-inflammatory ricinoleic acid soothes the scalp and nourishes follicles to reduce breakage. Cold-pressed and minimally filtered, so natural compounds may settle at the bottom — shake well before use.

Sunflower Seed Oil — Lightweight and fast-absorbing; locks in moisture and conditions the root without heaviness.

Flax Seed Oil — One of the richest plant sources of omega 3; hydrates a dry or flaky scalp and strengthens hair at the root.

Black Seed Oil — Thymoquinone and nigellone calm irritation and support a healthier scalp environment.

Thyme Oil — Antimicrobial and antioxidant; keeps the scalp clean and protects follicles from oxidative stress.

Rosemary Oil — Supports circulation to the follicles; carnosic acid protects against oxidative damage.

Wheat Germ Oil — Vitamin E-rich antioxidant that protects the scalp and stabilizes the formula.

Before shampooing

  1. Shake well before use.*
  2. Part hair into sections and apply directly to the scalp.
  3. Massage gently to stimulate circulation and evenly distribute.
  4. Leave on for at least 1 hour or overnight for deeper treatment.
  5. Shampoo and condition as usual.

Use regularly to help maintain a healthy, balanced scalp.

* Because we use cold-pressed, unrefined castor oil, natural compounds (waxes, fats and gums) may settle at the bottom of the bottle. This is normal and beneficial — simply shake well before use.

There are no customs or import tariffs as the products are dispatched from your order country.

B. For South Africa & UK customers: There are no shipping fees. There are no customs fees and import tariffs as we dispatch from your order country. Orders are dispatched same-day if the order is submitted before 9AM, otherwise it will be dispatched the following business day. Tracking is provided when the order dispatches.

C. For USA customers: Order $50+ ship for free, under $50 are charged at $8. There are no customs fees and import tariffs as we dispatch from the US. Designed for real scalp concerns

Scalp Elixir doesn’t mask symptoms – it targets what’s actually causing them.

FAQs

Two reasons. One, we formulated this product with thicker oils to give nourishment to your scalp. We don’t recommend applying this or any other thicker/heavier oils onto your full head of hair as it can be difficult to wash off. Second reason is that we have added oils that specifically target scalp health, they don’t take the same role on your hair shaft. It’s better to find a light oil formula for the rest of your hair.

We recommend that you use it as a pre-shampoo treatment (a pre-poo).

If you are dealing with a scalp issue, then we recommend with starting use at 2-3 times a week.

If you are generally looking to maintain the health of your scalp then once a week.

We don’t recommend this, overnight really should be the limit. Oil attracts dust so if you are walking around a full day or so with oil on your scalp you might be doing more damage to your scalp. Longer is not better.

We’ve been here. When you’re struggling with a scalp condition be it build up, hair loss etc. You find a product and you just want to drown your scalp in it. While that would be great for our sales, we do not recommend this at all. This formula was developed with the premise of; a little goes a long way. The oil should not be dripping off your scalp, apply the oil, massage in and your scalp should look moisturized. 

If your goal is hair re-growth, you should start noticing fuller hair anywhere between 3-4 months. The key here is consistency. If your concern is scalp health (itchiness, build up) you should notice results after your first wash, especially if you use our Shampoo Brush.

As with all your beauty products in general, keep out of direct sunlight to preserve the ingredients. There’s a reason our formula is packaged in a coloured bottle as direct sunlight does affect beauty formulations.
